What “free” means here
The generator is free to use for as many invoices as you like. There is no sign-up wall before the download and no watermark across your invoice — just a small “Created with Invoiceferry” line in the footer of the free PDF. The site is supported by ads shown around (never inside) the editor, and by an optional Pro plan for people who invoice often.
Why there is no account
Most invoice tools ask you to sign up because they store your invoices on their servers. Invoiceferry stores them in your browser instead, so there is nothing to log in to. The trade-off is that your documents live on one device: export a JSON backup from the More menu if you want to move them or keep a copy.
Works on your phone
On a small screen the editor switches to an Edit / Preview layout, and the running total stays visible at the bottom of the form. Mobile browsers can save to PDF from the share or print menu.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on the number of invoices?
No. You can create and download as many invoices, quotes and receipts as you want. The free plan shows your three most recent documents in the history list; Pro shows them all with search.
Is there a watermark on the free invoice?
There is no watermark over your content. The free PDF has one small line at the very bottom: “Created with Invoiceferry”. Pro removes it.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari — on desktop or mobile.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your saved documents and settings are deleted with it, because they are stored only in your browser. Export a backup (More → Export backup) to keep a copy.
