How to use this recurring invoice
- Fill in the invoice once with the regular lines and the billing period.
- Save it, then open your documents and choose Repeat: weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly.
- When the next date comes, opening the app creates the next invoice as a draft with a new number.
- Check the draft, update the period or hours, and download or send it.
- Use reminders to follow up on any recurring invoice that is not paid on time.
How Repeat works in Invoiceferry
In your documents, set any saved invoice to repeat weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly. When a new invoice is due, it is created as a draft with the next invoice number the next time you visit. Nothing is sent or charged automatically: everything stays in your browser, so you review each draft, adjust it if needed, and send it yourself. Because data lives in this browser, use the same device and browser, and back up your data from time to time.
Good habits for recurring billing
- Put the billing period in a line or in Notes (for example “1–30 November”) so each invoice is unique.
- Agree the schedule and price in writing, including notice for price changes.
- Each repeat gets its own number; never reuse one. See how to number invoices.
- Bill extras (overtime hours, call-outs) as extra lines on the draft, not as a separate surprise.
